As I sit down to write this, coffee in hand, I couldn’t be more thankful I’ve procrastinated. I take a sip and glance out the office window. Big, fluffy snowflakes dance and twirl outside and I can’t help but smile. There is something so magical about the first snow. And if our little town didn’t resemble a postcard before, it certainly does now.
I’m so thankful for snow. And for coffee. And for a nice, warm office to enjoy it all in.
I’ve been planning this blog post for awhile. A little break in our bridal content to reflect on the past year and give thanks. But I was struggling to find the right frame of mind to compose it. And then the first snow of the season coincided with my deadline and granted me the clarity to slow down and simply be in the moment. The start of the holiday season is always my favorite. It’s a time to get together with friends and family and celebrate gratitude. And we all have so much to be grateful for.
It’s been a big year for us here at Marrygrams. We moved our office 1,041 miles from Houston, TX to a beautiful new office building in Golden, CO. We survived another year of the National Stationery Show. Our wholesale collection grew and we welcomed new retailers. A stripey kitten joined our Marrygrams family (ALWAYS something to be thankful for). We launched a bunch of new products and most recently an adorable new line of baby cards.
And we got to continue doing the work we love.
So, thank you.
